Dev Pahal is a Nurse Practitioner with an interest in general cardiology and heart failure management, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She holds board certifications from the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Association for Heart Failure.

With an extensive cardiology background, including cardiology critical care, she initially graduated from the UK as an RN, before coming to Canada in 1988. In 2005, Dev graduated from D’Youville College with a Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner, along with an Advance Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate (NP) from the State University of New York.

Over the years, she has held various leadership roles including clinical educator for critical cardiology intensive care, and has mentored many critical care nurses and NPs. She also has a passion for lifelong learning, including patient teaching. On a personal note, Dev enjoys travelling, cooking, exercise and socializing with friends.
