Dr. Anil Yadav, MD, FRCPC FACC FHRS, is a native of Toronto and obtained his undergraduate education and medical degree at the University of Western Ontario. Thereafter he completed Internal Medicine training at the University of Toronto and his cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas SouthWestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

He further specialized in the field of cardiac electrophysiology by completing his cardiac EP fellowship with his mentor Dr. Melvin Scheinman at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Yadav was recruited thereafter by Dr. Zipes at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Yadav developed a large clinical cardiac electrophysiology practice and rose to the rank of Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. He has published over 20 manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters and garnered several teaching awards at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is also fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and was a member of the editorial board of the leading journal in cardiac EP Heart Rhythm for over a decade.

Dr. Yadav now returns to his native Toronto and is working at Pace Cardiology in affiliation with Southlake Hospital to continue expanding EP services to patients in York Region. His clinical interests include all aspects of cardiac electrophysiology including implantation and management of cardiac rhythm devices (including pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization devices), catheter ablation of both supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias. In addition, a comprehensive cardiac EP consultative service will also be developed to serve the growing need of the region and improve access and timely delivery of cardiac care.
