As a cardiac genetic counsellor, Edith is experienced in the area of medical genetics and counselling. She assists patients and their families in understanding the nature of inheritance and implications of cardiac arrhythmia and cardiomyopathy conditions to empower them to make informed medical decisions.

She is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) and has previously worked at the Ottawa Heart Institute, Newborn Screening Ontario and Hamilton Health Sciences. Edith was awarded a Leading Voices Award from the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) and is committed to patient privacy and Lean Six Sigma.
